Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a System Coding Manager to lead Munson Healthcare coding operations and align coding with revenue-cycle goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory coding leadership, RHIT/RHIA with CCS/CIC in the healthcare setting, and strong knowledge of ICD-10-CPT coding policy, compliance, and budget management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Health Information Management is required.
• RHIT or RHIA certification required; CCS and/or CIC preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory or coding leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the systemwide coding program and ensure timely, accurately coded cases.
• Manage coding staff to achieve productivity and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and payer requirements.
• Develop budgets and monitor variances within coding operations.
• Lead process improvements across the revenue cycle.
