Qualifications

• At least 5 years of IP PCS coding experience required.
• CCS certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Review full medical records to determine principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures.
• Sequence diagnoses and procedures with high accuracy targeting DRG optimization.
• Maintain high productivity and quality levels across coding tasks.
• Request additional information from staff when needed for accurate coding.
• Stay current on coding guidelines and share updates with colleagues.
