Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is seeking a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist. You will focus on collecting home infusion claims, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and work to reduce denial rates, DSO, and bad debt.

The role emphasizes revenue cycle management and building strong payer and patient relationships. You will review EOBs, remittance advices, and other documents for denials or acceptances, identify reasons for denials, and take corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years home infusion billing/collections experience.
• High School Diploma with specialized training in intake, pharmacy/medical billing and/or collections.
• Remote work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and take actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect balances, building relationships.
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
• Identify payor requirements for submittal of appeals and submit them per payor rules.
• Communicate with franchise partners and other departments on status of collections.
• Document activity in the system and schedule follow-ups as required.
