Job summary

Law School Admission Council (LSAC) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to administer and support enterprise infrastructure platforms including Windows Server, Office 365, Azure, Hyper-V, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, and DR planning.

The role involves patch management, ongoing monitoring, and daily maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based systems, with collaboration across developers, consultants, and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in network technology environments.
• Experience with Office 365, Azure, Windows OS, Hyper-V and Exchange Server.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, fault tolerance, high availability and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and maintenance of the network environment and security platforms.
• Monitor the infrastructure and respond to issues and problems.
• Proactively recommend and implement processes improvements.
• Work closely with developers and consultants in assessing needs and supporting goals.
• Responsible for maintenance and support of servers, hosts and virtual machines.
• Provide off-hours support for the network environment, customers and employees when required.
• Implement solutions designed by senior engineers and architects.
• Resolve infrastructure incidents and problems.
• Perform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Participate in technology projects.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Escalate complex issues.
• Work within established standards.
• Execute approved designs.
