Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support a newly awarded SEC contract. This remote role requires residency in the Washington, DC area and is a W2 opportunity with no third-party staffing.

You will architect and implement enterprise automation using Ansible Automation Platform, establish reusable automation standards, and integrate with GitHub Enterprise, CyberArk, and ops tools across Windows/Linux/OpenShift environments.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a BS degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 6-10 years.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure design and automation.
• Production experience with Ansible/Automation Platform.
• Experience designing reusable automation including roles, playbooks, collections, inventories, credentials, execution environments, jobs, and workflows.
• Experience integrating automation platforms with APIs, webhooks, ITSM systems, secrets-management, or monitoring/observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement automation across SEC infrastructure using Ansible Automation Platform.
• Establish reusable AAP orgs, projects, inventories, credentials, and job templates for multiple teams.
• Develop and maintain Ansible roles, playbooks, collections, and workflows for config, deployment, upgrades, patching, and ops.
• Integrate GitHub Enterprise with AAP for auditable, Git-based promotion of automation content.
• Integrate AAP with secrets-management and CyberArk for secured credentials.
• Design API-driven and event-driven automation with Datadog, ServiceNow, and other systems.
• Support Windows, Linux/Unix, OpenShift/Kubernetes, virtualization, storage, networking infra.
• Collaborate on OpenShift/Kubernetes GitOps integration and E2E automation standards.
• Document architecture, standards, and runbooks for long-term operation.
