Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Infra Network Architect to lead design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale enterprise WAN and network security solutions. The role focuses on Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Prisma Access SSE/SASE, and secure connectivity across global environments.

You will develop HLDs/LLDs, mentor engineers, manage vendor relations, and drive network modernization while adhering to security standards and operational excellence. Remote-USA role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in enterprise network design and architecture.
• Expertise in WAN architecture and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Hands-on with vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise WAN solutions.
• Architect and implement Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions.
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE/SASE.
• Develop HLDs/LLDs and implementation plans.
• Provide advanced routing and switching expertise (BGP, OSPF, route-maps, ACLs).
• Ensure adherence to network security standards (VPN, IPsec, QoS).
• Lead network lifecycle management and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Manage telecommunications providers and SLA management.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
