Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Infra Network Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale enterprise WAN and security solutions. Remote, USA, with deep Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and Prisma Access SSE expertise across global environments.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise network design, strong routing/security skills, CCNP Enterprise certification, and a track record of leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of enterprise network design, implementation, and architecture.
• Deep WAN architecture expertise with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN components: vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdge.
• Strong knowledge of BGP/OSPF, VPN/IPsec, QoS, and SSE/SASE.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise WAN solutions.
• Architect and implement Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions.
• Design and deploy Palo Alto Prisma Access SSE/SASE for secure remote access.
• Develop High-Level and Low-Level designs, plans, and change documents.
• Provide advanced routing/switching expertise and troubleshoot.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and VPN technologies.
• Lead lifecycle management, hardware/software upgrades, and remediation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage vendors.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
