Placements24 is seeking an Information Security Engineer to join the team in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure and data from cyber threats.

You will work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure robust security measures are in place, responding to incidents and continuously improving the security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Monitor security systems and networks for threats and vulnerabilities, responding to incidents proactively.
• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure secure system configurations.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
