Remote: Information Security Analyst- Identity Access Management Governance

IntePros is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the Identity Access Management (IAM) Governance team at our global pharmaceutical services client. This person will support IAM governance projects and initiatives, focusing on ensuring compliance with security requirements and best practices, and collaborating across the business to mitigate risk. Responsibilities include managing and executing security projects, risk management, compliance, and control assurance to safeguard the company's infrastructure and information assets.

Responsibilities

1. Support the development and enhancement of IAM Governance processes and procedures, including control document reviews, assessment preparation, coordination of meetings, tracking remediation plans, monitoring progress, and escalating issues as needed.
2. Analyze business processes and requirements for alignment with security policies.
3. Follow up on deficiencies from audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure remediation.
4. Assist with updates to policies, control standards, and procedures.
5. Lead or contribute to security hygiene projects through full project lifecycle.
6. Perform security monitoring, reporting, and escalation of security alerts.
7. Identify root causes and resolve security-related issues.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve findings from security tools and audits.
9. Support SLAs to maintain security controls.
10. Conduct control testing and provide guidance on secure business processes.
11. Develop security solutions for medium to complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IAM or Information Security.
• Preferred: Security-related certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
• Experience in IAM Access Control, IAM Governance, or GRC.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of IAM principles such as least privilege, privilege access management, service account management, access reviews, and password management.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards like ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, ITIL, NIST, PCI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
