Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Information Governance Analyst to support the IG strategy, manage Information Lifecycle Management of client and firm assets, and drive process improvements. The role involves coordinating with Risk, Compliance, and IT Security, performing analytics, and creating documentation and training materials.

The position may be filled onsite, hybrid, or remotely from any office, with a focus on implementing policies, procedures and governance to safeguard information

Qualifications

• 2-year degree required; 4-year degree preferred or commensurate professional and educational experience.
• 3 years’ relevant experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and general technology

Responsibilities

• Analyzes detailed functional requirements and designs process improvements.
• Documents analysis results and recommendations with process diagrams and system specs.
• Develops and implements IG policies, procedures and processes to improve security, confidentiality and client service.
• Works with Risk Management, Compliance, General Counsel and IT Security teams on IG initiatives.
• Assists with client audits and onboarding of files and data for new attorneys and clients
