Job summary

EXPANSIA Group in collaboration with JHNA and CTSi seeks an Information Assurance/Security Engineer III for a remote role supporting DoD and national security programs. You will design, implement, and audit security controls across networks and systems, with emphasis on compliance and risk management.

Requires active TS/SCI clearance, a Bachelor's or Master’s in a relevant field, 3–7 years of experience, and hands-on experience with vulnerability assessments, security tooling, and policy

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of experience, or Master's with 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Experience with vulnerability assessments, security testing, and mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with security tools, firewalls, SIEM, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate security requirements within business processes.
• Support certification and accreditation efforts per DIACAP, NIACAP, and NIST SP 800-37.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop system security plans and contingency plans.
• Implement security tools, monitor system integrity, and support incident response efforts.
• Provide information assurance support for security architecture development and implementation.
