Job summary

Ford Motor Credit Company is seeking an experienced MDM technical lead to join the Customer & Account Domain Identity Platform team. You will mentor engineers while shaping IDMC and MDM SaaS implementations using Java, Spring, CQRS, and hexagonal architecture.

This senior role requires deep Informatica expertise, data modeling, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions. You will collaborate across technical and business teams, drive platform upgrades, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years hands-on Informatica platform development and administration, incl. CAI, CDI, Cloud Data Quality & Governance.
• Three+ years implementing Informatica MDM solutions, incl. MDM data modeling and match/merge rules.
• Three+ years in a technical lead or senior engineer capacity.
• Eight+ years in software engineering with Java; Spring expertise required.
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture (ports and adapters) and CQRS patterns.
• Experience with Mermaid and C4 modeling.
• Behavior-driven development with test automation (BDD).
• Working with GCP, CloudBuild, Tekton, Hoppscotch, GraphQL.
• Experience managing work with Jira.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions on IDMC capabilities with Ford teams.
• Design and develop solutions for Informatica IDMC platform.
• Drive evolution of Informatica MDM SaaS, including data modeling and matching strategies.
• Design and implement IDMC integration workflows using CAI, CDI, and Data Governance components.
• Develop standards and mentor others on best practices for the platform and data management processes.
• Lead platform upgrades and migrations.
• Design, develop and improve Java applications with Spring and CQRS.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices that integrate with internal/external systems.
• Lead and guide disaggregation of requirements in an Agile process.
• Contribute to team and broader organization learning.
