Job summary

Ford Motor Credit Company is seeking a senior MDM technical lead to join the Customer & Account Domain Identity Platform team. You will lead the Informatica IDMC platform and MDM SaaS initiatives, while contributing as a senior software engineer using Java, Spring, and modern architecture patterns.

You will mentor others, design scalable solutions, and guide data management practices in a hybrid work model with opportunities to influence Ford’s data-driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• 5+ years hands-on Informatica platform development and administration, IDMC components, CAI, CDI, Cloud Data Quality, Cloud Data Governance, X360 integrations.
• 3+ years implementing Informatica MDM solutions, including MDM SaaS data modeling and matching rules.
• 3+ years in a technical lead or senior engineer role.
• 8+ years in software engineering with Java/Spring expertise.
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture and CQRS patterns.
• Experience with Mermaid and C4 modeling.
• BDD with test automation; experience with GraphQL, GCP, and related tooling.
• Experience managing work with Jira; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead discussions on IDMC capabilities and best practices with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design and develop solutions for Informatica IDMC platform for performance and reliability.
• Drive evolution of the Informatica MDM SaaS solution including data modeling and matching strategies.
• Design IDMC integration workflows using CAI, CDI, Data Quality and Data Governance components.
• Develop standards and mentor teams on platform and data management practices.
• Lead platform upgrades and migrations and evaluate new features.
• Develop Java applications using Spring, CQRS and hexagonal architecture; build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Translate requirements into actionable work within an Agile process.
• Contribute to team and organizational learning.
