Job summary

The Software Engineer role at Lifetime Healthcare Companies is responsible for working on projects currently visualized or developed by our organization, following SDLC methodologies and directing testing and validation efforts. This position collaborates with clients and cross-functional teams to communicate status and proposals.

Primary focus is ETL and Informatica work; we seek an experienced Informatica Engineer to join the team and contribute to development standards and cross-team

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or related field; or three years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#/.NET, Java, SQL, C++, Python, Visual Basic or JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of Informatica, CI/CD, Pega, Power BI or Cognos.
• Basic knowledge of Unix-Based or Windows operating systems.
• Basic database experience.
• Basic understanding of software testing and quality.
• Demonstrated basic ability to effectively communicate and partner with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops code, analyzes, researches, and resolves system issues.
• Participates in on-call production support rotation.
• Supports and follows IT processes, documentation and design reviews.
• Collaborates with team to understand requirements and impacts.
• Creates work plans, specifications and programs using development standards.
• Develops skillset in one tool and source control usage.
• Contributes to SDLC understanding and application.
