Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks an experienced Infor LN Consultant – Planning to design, configure, and optimize enterprise planning processes within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on MPS, MRP, forecasting, capacity planning, and planning master data management.

You will collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with operational requirements, with travel 2-3x monthly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in manufacturing and planning.
• 5+ years of experience with MPS.
• 5+ years of experience with MRP.
• 5+ years of experience managing planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing.
• Strong understanding of planning master data structures (items, lead times, order policies, horizons).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Infor LN planning processes.
• Drive improvements across MPS, MRP, forecasting, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing.
• Configure and maintain planning parameters, item planning settings, and master data structures within Infor LN.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of planning master data, including items, lead times, order policies, planning horizons, and supply sources.
• Analyze and troubleshoot planning issues such as material shortages, inaccurate planning signals, and capacity constraints.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with operational requirements.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional guidance and best practices for planning processes and master data governance.
• Travel Required- 2-3x monthly
