Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking an experienced Infor LN Consultant - Planning to support the design, optimization, and stabilization of enterprise planning processes within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), forecasting, and planning master data management.

The ideal candidate will bring deep Infor LN expertise and a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in manufacturing and planning environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• 5+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• 5+ years of experience managing planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Infor LN planning processes.
• Drive improvements across MPS, MRP, forecasting, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing.
• Configure and maintain planning parameters, item planning settings, and master data structures within Infor LN.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of planning master data, including items, lead times, order policies, planning horizons, and supply sources.
• Analyze and troubleshoot planning issues such as material shortages, inaccurate planning signals, and capacity constraints.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with operational requirements.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional guidance and best practices for planning processes and master data governance.
• Travel Required- 2-3x monthly
