Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Sr. Infor LN Consultant - Planning to join our San Diego, CA team.

You will lead design and optimization of LN planning processes, configure planning parameters, and ensure master data integrity to support MRP execution across multi-site environments. The role requires 7+ years with Infor LN or Baan in planning/manufacturing, 5+ years in MPS and MRP, and strong analytical skills with stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Infor LN (or Baan) planning/manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• 5+ years in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• 5+ years in planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of planning processes, including MPS, MRP, forecasting, and supply/demand balancing.
• Configure and maintain LN planning parameters, item planning setup, and master data structures critical to planning accuracy.
• Ensure integrity and alignment of planning master data (items, lead times, order policies, supply sources) to support MRP execution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting for planning issues (shortages, incorrect signals, capacity constraints).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (planning, procurement, manufacturing) to align LN solutions with operational workflows.
• Support implementations, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across LN planning modules.
• Strong understanding of planning master data structures and dependencies (item planning data, order policies, horizons, planners).
• Experience in multi-site/global manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
