Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking an experienced Infor LN Consultant – Planning to drive planning processes in a manufacturing environment. You will focus on MPS, MRP, forecasting, and master data management, delivering optimized planning configurations and reliable data structures.

The role requires deep Infor LN expertise, strong analytical abilities, and collaboration across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams. Travel 2-3x monthly; remote/work-from-home options may apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in manufacturing and planning environments.
• 5+ years experience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• 5+ years experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• 5+ years managing planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and optimization of Infor LN planning processes.
• Drive improvements across MPS, MRP, forecasting, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing.
• Configure and maintain planning parameters, item planning settings, and master data structures within Infor LN.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of planning master data (items, lead times, order policies, horizons, sourcing).
• Analyze and troubleshoot planning issues such as material shortages and capacity constraints.
• Partner with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with requirements.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional guidance and best practices for planning processes and master data governance.
• Travel required- 2-3x monthly

Infor LN Consultant – Planning

We are seeking an experienced Infor LN Consultant – Planning to support the design, optimization, and stabilization of enterprise planning processes within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), forecasting, supply-demand balancing, and planning master data management. The ideal candidate will bring deep Infor LN expertise and a strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Infor LN planning processes.
• Drive improvements across MPS, MRP, forecasting, capacity planning, and supply-demand balancing.
• Configure and maintain planning parameters, item planning settings, and master data structures within Infor LN.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of planning master data, including items, lead times, order policies, planning horizons, and supply sources.
• Analyze and troubleshoot planning issues such as material shortages, inaccurate planning signals, and capacity constraints.
• Partner with business stakeholders across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with operational requirements.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional guidance and best practices for planning processes and master data governance.
• Travel Required- 2-3x monthly

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan) in manufacturing and planning environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• 5+ years of experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• 5+ years of experience managing planning cycles, forecast consumption, and supply-demand balancing processes.
• Strong understanding of planning master data structures, including:
  • Item planning data
  • Order policies
  • Planning horizons
  • Planner assignments
  • Lead times and sourcing methods
• Experience configuring and supporting planning functionality within Infor LN.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning, production control, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Experience leading process improvement and system optimization initiatives.
• Prior participation in ERP implementations or large-scale LN transformation projects.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($80-$83/hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
