Job summary

Cordia LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all design, procurement, construction and setup for a specific project. The role ensures work meets objectives, schedule, cost and quality targets while representing Cordia across project activities. This is a remote position.

You will coordinate with engineers, suppliers and contractors, monitor progress, manage change orders, and maintain documentation, safety and QA processes to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of experience in engineering & design, construction and operation of utility, industrial or institutional projects.
• 5 years experience in Project Management on large industrial projects.
• Advanced management training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor compliance with the Project Execution Plan and Project Charter.
• Advise management on progress, costs, schedules, and client relations at regular intervals.
• Monitor and ensure Job Status Reports are properly reviewed with the project team prior to issuance.
• Monitor contractors’ performance against schedule and budget, identifying deviations.
• Support commercial agreement development and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and guide engineering development and procurement activities.
• Define construction path, resource plan and implement plan.
• Maintain effective management, planning and cost control systems.
• Oversee contractors’ QC/QA procedures and safety adherence.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate project risks; maintain contingency plans.
• Manage change process with contractors; negotiate change orders.
