Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, install, repair and train customers on automated equipment. Travel 80-100% with weekend home time; work on-site at customer facilities or in-house at Lincoln-owned locations in Texas.

Expect to perform electrical/mechanical maintenance, system commissioning, and robot programming (Fanuc/ABB). Strong PLC/HMI experience and ability to read electrical/mechanical prints are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational preferred).
Associates degree focused in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or robotics.
4+ years electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
Minimum five years of field service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support, solve problems, testing, training, installs and maintenance.
Deliver a consistent, positive, and exceptional customer service experience.
Industrial troubleshooting in electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, robot programming, networks, and Fieldbus.
Travel as required to install, start-up, or provide field support and complete projects.
