Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors in the Los Angeles area, covering Beverly Hills, Sherman Oaks, and West Hollywood. You will schedule and conduct on-site surveys, visit properties, take photos, measurements, and note issues for underwriters.

As a Field Consultant (1099), you work independently from a home office, manage your own schedule, and report findings through the Signature portal.

Qualifications

• Prior underwriting experience is desirable.
• Prior inspection experience on residential homes is desirable.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism is key.
• BA or BS degree desired, but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer.
• Late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance.
• High speed internet, Digital Camera or Smartphone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site high value property surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements.
• Identify construction materials/characteristics and unique features.
• Obtain measurements and generate estimated replacement value.
• Communicate findings via loss control 360 on Signature website.
