Job summary

Signature Companies is seeking experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors to join as independent contractors. You will independently manage on-site property surveys for high-value homes, documenting construction details, capturing measurements, photos, and site observations.

You’ll assess underwriting risks and prepare loss-control reports for carrier guidelines. The role offers flexibility to work locally in your market, with support from management and ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector.
• Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or luxury home appsraisals.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and features.
• Experience estimating replacement costs for high-value homes.
• Proficiency with diagramming software (Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD).
• Excellent communication with homeowners and insurance agents.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site inspections of high-value properties.
• Document construction features, finishes, and architectural elements.
• Capture measurements, photographs, and site observations.
• Identify underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures.
• Develop replacement cost estimates reflecting quality materials.
• Submit timely reports that meet carrier guidelines.
• Communicate findings via Loss Control 360 on Signature site.
