Job summary

Signature Companies is expanding to California and seeking self-motivated Field Consultants for on-site High Value Property surveys in the San Diego area. You will schedule and conduct surveys, visit properties, take measurements, photos, and report findings to underwriters, while working on your own schedule as a 1099 contractor.

Experience in insurance adjusting, home appraisals, real estate, or construction is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Professionalism is key.
• BA or BS degree desired, but not required.
• Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer.
• High speed internet, Digital Camera or Smartphone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site High Value Property Surveys.
• Visit properties, take photos and measurements, note issues for underwriter.
• Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards.
• Communicate information gathered during on-site inspection in loss control 360 via Signature website.
