CorVel Corporation is seeking an Indemnity Claims Specialist for a remote role dedicated to handling low‑complex indemnity claims with limited authority, under the direct supervision of a senior claims professional. You will support the claims department goals and CorVel’s client services.

Responsibilities include managing non‑complex workers’ compensation claims, confirming coverage, establishing reserves, and communicating with customers and claimants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience; claims management preferred.
• Current Workers’ Compensation license/certification maintained during employment.

Responsabilités

• Receives Workers’ Compensation claims and confirms policy coverage.
• Determines claim validity and compensability.
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments within authority limits.
• Manages non-complex lost-time workers’ compensation claims under supervision.
• Communicates claim status with customer, claimant and client.
• Adheres to guidelines and participates in claims reviews.
• Assists other claims professionals with more complex claims as needed.
• Performs additional projects and duties as assigned.
