Job summary

iSeatz is seeking an Incident Response Program Lead to own and run our security incident response program while guiding MSSP governance across the organization. This hands-on leadership role coordinates responses to security and compliance incidents, oversees vendor governance, and strengthens security operations and incident readiness with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in information security, including incident response and security operations.
• Experience leading or coordinating security incidents across technical and business teams.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and testing incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks.
• Experience working with an MSSP, MDR provider, SOC, or other managed security partner.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, logs, and investigation using technical evidence.
• Experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS, and multi-account architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the Security Incident Response program, including policies, plans, playbooks, and incident documentation.
• Serve as incident lead during security and compliance incidents, coordinating investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities.
• Oversee MSSP governance, onboarding, service integration, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Partner with MSSP and internal teams to improve alert quality, detection rules, and response automation.
• Lead tabletop exercises and testing activities, documenting lessons learned and remediation actions.
• Maintain incident response readiness through training and escalation capabilities.
• Drive operational reporting on incident trends and control gaps.
