Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated Principal Consultant to lead incident response engagements for major organizations. You will develop new methods to hunt threats across large data sets, coordinate with legal counsel, and deliver detailed findings to executives and regulators.

Ideal candidates have strong IR, forensics, and reverse engineering skills, with experience in AI-enabled decision support and a willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. This role is remote in the USA.

Qualifications

• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, or related field.
• Ability to complete technical tasks without supervision.
• Desire to grow technical and soft skills.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Develop and use methods to hunt for bad actors across large data sets.
• Conduct intrusion investigations with outside counsel.
• Perform host and/or network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Perform basic malware analysis.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports to stakeholders.
