Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated Principal Consultant to lead incident response engagements and drive forensic investigations across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. You’ll develop new methods to hunt threats, coordinate with legal teams, and deliver clear findings to executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience leading incident response investigations for organizations.
• Experience in targeted threats (APTs, organized crime, hacktivists).
• Background in computer forensic analysis using standard tools.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and log analysis.
• Experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Develop and use new methods to hunt for bad actors.
• Coordinate with outside counsel for intrusion investigations.
• Perform host and/or network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Perform basic malware analysis.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.
