Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant to join our remote US team. You will lead incident response engagements and drive investigations across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, using advanced forensics and malware analysis to deliver actionable findings.

You will communicate findings to executives and legal teams, publish thought leadership, and mentor peers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading incident response engagements for organizations, including targeted threats.
• Background in computer and network forensics with various tools.
• Knowledge of cloud IR methodologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% on short notice.
• BA/BS or equivalent in a technical field, plus relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements for customers and stakeholders.
• Develop and apply new methods to hunt for actors across large data sets.
• Coordinate with outside counsel for intrusion investigations.
• Perform host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, Linux.
• Conduct basic malware analysis and document findings.
• Deliver highquality written/verbal reports and presentations to clients.
