Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Principal Consultant to lead incident response engagements and drive advanced threat hunting across large data sets. You will collaborate with legal and clients to investigate intrusions and deliver clear, impactful findings.

You will perform host and network forensics, malware analysis, and craft remediation plans while contributing to CrowdStrike's thought leadership through blogs and public talks. Remote work is supported in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security or related field; applicants with relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience leading incident response investigations and teams.
• Background in computer forensics and network forensics.
• Knowledge of network protocols and tooling for threat hunting.
• Ability to communicate findings to executives and clients.
• Experience with AI-enabled decision support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements for complex investigations.
• Develop and apply new methods to hunt across large data sets.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on intrusion investigations.
• Perform host and network forensics across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Conduct basic malware analysis.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal reports and presentations.
• Share thought leadership through blogs and public talks.
