Job summary

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in a jurisdiction and eligible to practice as in-house counsel in Texas.
• 5–7 years of contract drafting and negotiation experience, preferably in-house.
• Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including SAAS, product, vendor, service, data acquisition and licensing, and NDAs.
• Support internal stakeholders across procurement, sales, finance, HR, and operations on contracting matters.
• Conduct legal research to support negotiations and stay updated on relevant laws and trends.
• Advise on risk, options, enforceability, and potential disputes; manage outside counsel.
• Collaborate with product teams to draft sales agreements for new products.
• Help develop and implement compliance programs and policies.
