Job summary

CompNova is seeking an experienced IMS CSCF Engineer to drive CSCF architectures across the USA and Canada on a remote engagement. You will own SIP signaling, IMS registration flows, interoperability testing, and network performance tuning for reliable VoIP and 5G voice services.

You will configure P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, integrate with HSS/UDM, perform IOT, troubleshoot signaling issues, and work with multi-vendor teams and technical recruiters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in telecom core networks and IMS CSCF engineering.
• Strong expertise in SIP, SDP, Diameter, RTP, and SIGTRAN.
• Experience with Nokia, Ericsson, or Huawei IMS core architectures.
• Experience with real-time network troubleshooting and packet analysis (Wireshark).
• Know-how on cloud-native deployment, CNFs/VNFs, and containerization.
• Legal work authorization for USA/Canada (C2C, W2, or IC).

Responsibilities

• Own core SIP signaling, IMS registration flows, and interop testing.
• Configure CSCF components (P-CSCF/I-CSCF/S-CSCF) and Diameter/SIP interfaces.
• Troubleshoot voice call drops and latency; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with recruitment leaders and client stakeholders during deployments.
• Maintain documentation and network diagrams.
