Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Implementation Engineer (Remote) to support new client and facility implementations within its contract logistics network. You will maintain layouts, ensure facility readiness, track capital investments, and apply CEVA LEAN standards while collaborating with operations and IT teams to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires data-driven decision making, strong process optimization skills, and experience with WMS configuration, 3PL projects, and vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years Logistics & Distribution experience designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.
• Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience required.
• WMS configuration experience.
• E-commerce and Omni channel fulfilment experience.
• Experience in designing building utilities and infrastructure requirements including power, air, data to support material handling equipment.
• Experience managing vendors and integrators with implementation of material handling equipment.
• Six Sigma and LEAN certifications a plus.
• Experience in quality and efficiency design for high volume environments.
• Experience in sortation design and material handling of various package configurations.
• Experience in designing and implementing user acceptance testing for material handling equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solutions Design to understand data assumptions and procurement needs for new client and facility implementations.
• Lead site setup, facility outfitting, layout execution and process optimization in the fulfillment center.
• Define slotting and replenishment strategy by analyzing data and communicating insights to Operational partners.
• Coordinate with IT and WMS Configuration to define location naming, work zones, and pick sequences.
• Use data and labour standards to validate pricing assumptions and develop Operational reporting.
• Collaborate with Training & Development to ensure accurate work instructions for facility processes.
• Partner with Project Management and Procurement to ensure equipment and supplies are ordered, tracked, delivered and implemented on-time and on-budget.
