Job summary

BestLife - Emotional Health & Wellness Center is seeking a MID Instructor to deliver court- or RMV-mandated driver education services remotely. The role includes initial assessments, mid-point evaluations, and exit interviews for participants in the 16-week program.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and maintain knowledge of recovery-oriented practices, while supporting clients toward recovery goals and reducing recidivism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field OR independent licensure.
• Experience and proficiency in substance use disorder treatment and recovery.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of substance use disorders and their impact on functioning.
• Support participants in identifying and pursuing recovery goals while reducing recidivism.
• Assist individuals in setting and implementing treatment and recovery goals for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Assess participant needs, stressors, and patterns; encourage personal growth and self-efficacy.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate and empower participants with information on community resources and recovery supports.
• Maintain current knowledge of recovery-oriented practices through trainings and development.
• Complete required documentation and promptly report crises or incidents.
