Job summary

Recover Medical Group is seeking a part-time DUI Counselor in California to educate, counsel, and support participants in court-m mandated or DMV-referred DUI programs. You will run group and individual sessions, ensure Title 9 compliance, and help clients meet behavioral health requirements for program completion.

The role collaborates with program leadership and state/county partners to ensure documentation, reporting, and client progress meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• CADC-I or CADC-II credential recognized by DHCS.
• Knowledge of Title 9 DUI Program regulations and documentation.
• At least 1 year of substance use counseling experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate DUI education and counseling groups using approved curricula.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions and client check-ins per Title 9 timelines.
• Complete intake, orientation, and exit interviews.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and tracking systems.
• Monitor participant attendance and compliance with DMV and court orders.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and completion documents.
• Uphold DHCS, DMC-ODS, and agency policies.
