Job summary

Ogletree Deakins seeks an Immigration Intake and Data Specialist to support intake for new and existing immigration cases. You will enter data, initiate case files, and assist with basic client communication while learning firm systems.

This role is eligible to be fully remote and requires residency in a state with an Ogletree Deakins office. A detail-oriented, process-driven candidate will thrive under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of administrative, legal, or immigration-related experience.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor intake inbox and log new initiation requests into case management systems.
• Send standard questionnaires to clients, visa beneficiaries, and managers.
• Create and organize case files, including billing numbers, barcodes, and scanned docs.
• Maintain accurate draft case records and status updates.
• Assemble case files and route to attorneys for initial review.
• Respond to routine client inquiries using templates and scripts.
• Request educational evaluations and supporting documents as directed.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in all systems.
• Follow established intake workflows and timelines.
• Maintain hot dates calendar.
• Other duties as assigned.
