Job summary

Moaddel Law Firm, A.P.C. seeks an experienced Intake Attorney to be the first contact for prospective clients in our Immigration practice.

The role evaluates case viability, guides complex immigration matters, and ensures high-quality intake processes while aligning with firm revenue goals. You will oversee legal strategy in intake and collaborate with Business Development, Legal, and Support teams; no caseload is assigned.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) license in good standing.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• 3–5 years Immigration Law experience including litigation.
• Experience with Family Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR removal defense, Citizenship, USCIS applications.
• CRM/case management tools proficiency (e.g., CLIO) and virtual communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Business Development team’s legal strategy and ensure intake information and retainer agreements follow firm protocols.
• Conduct strategic legal consultations and case evaluations in person, via virtual platforms or phone.
• Advise on immigration options including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review consultations, intake forms, and documents to assess case viability and eligibility.
• Develop case strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for court/USCIS interviews.
