Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems across the healthcare environment. You will support image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange while collaborating on projects and vendor relationships.

The role emphasizes system optimization, interface management, and adherence to imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7, with opportunities to contribute across lifecycle activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Technology (or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with medical imaging systems such as PACS, RIS, EMR preferred.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Experience in project management and working with healthcare stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitor interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Aid in policy development for image management to ensure compliance with standards (DICOM, HL7).
• Assist with vendor management for imaging applications and systems.
