Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance of imaging platforms and smooth data exchange across EMR, RIS, and PACS systems. The role involves project support, vendor coordination, and lifecycle documentation to improve imaging workflows in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include managing interfaces, ensuring data integrity, and supporting policy development and regulatory compliance while leveraging DICOM/HL7 standards to enhance clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or PACS administration preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma training or certification is a plus.
• Healthcare industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal viewing and interpretation environment for medical images.
• Monitor interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Ensure data integrity and optimize imaging workflows and compliance with standards (DICOM/HL7).
• Participate in full SDLC and create/maintain project documentation.
• Support budgeting, vendor management, and user training as needed.
