Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces within the healthcare system. This role involves active participation in project management, vendor relations, and continuous improvement of imaging workflows.

The candidate will support clinical environments, ensuring seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or related field.
• Experience with medical imaging systems and PACS preferred.
• Knowledge of DICOM/HL7 standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensures an optimal environment for viewing and interpreting medical images.
• Monitors interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verifies data integrity and optimizes image/workflow processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Participates in policy development for image management ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Assesses imaging modality capabilities to support clinical needs and tech advances.
• Collaborates with customers and developers to understand requirements and design quality solutions.
• Manages project lifecycle documents and testing artifacts from planning to training.
• Maintains project scope, budget, and defect management.
• Uses project tools to plan, monitor, and close projects.
