Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and integrity of medical imaging systems across the healthcare environment. You will manage interfaces with EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition, while supporting project lifecycles and vendor engagements.

The role requires knowledge of imaging standards, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, with hands-on IT support and continuous workflow improvements in a clinical setting. Remote-based with travel 25%–50%.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging systems administration or PACS preferred.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards required or preferred.
• Experience working in healthcare IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Image Management & System Optimization: ensure optimal viewing/interpretation environment and reliable interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition.
• Project Management & Development Support: participate in full system development lifecycle and manage documentation and milestones.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: inform stakeholders of downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes while aligning with healthcare terminology.
• Information Technology & Technical Support: assist vendor management, implement/upgrades, and retrieve data for KPIs/audits.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: ensure standards compliance, comprehensive testing, and post-implementation support.
