Job summary

Carenet Health is seeking a Health Advisor to join our remote patient services team. In this role you will support scheduling across imaging and related services, handling high-volume inbound calls with empathy and accuracy, while documenting interactions in HIPAA-compliant systems.

You will coordinate with patients, providers and internal teams to schedule, reschedule, verify insurance, and supply clear instructions. A private, secure home office is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of healthcare contact center experience with scheduling medical appointments; imaging/specialty scheduling preferred.
• Work From Home experience in a private, secure environment with HIPAA compliance.
• Strong verbal communication with empathy and professionalism.
• Understanding of contact center performance metrics and reliability in remote work.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound patient interactions to schedule diagnostic imaging.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm appointments across service lines.
• Respond to patient questions about services, prep, insurance, and information.
• Document all interactions in the CRM per protocols.
• Review orders and provider instructions to follow scheduling guidelines.
• Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy.
• Coordinate care with patients, providers, and internal teams.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and security standards.
• Participate in training and apply feedback to improve service.
• Maintain attendance, schedule adherence, and flexibility.
