Job summary

US Oncology Network in Texas is seeking a Clinical Insurance Reviewer to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department, supporting the Fort Worth clinic. This full-time remote position requires residence in Texas and offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00a–5:00p, with duties including obtaining authorizations and pre-certifications to prevent reimbursement delays.

You will collaborate with nursing and medical staff, update payer guidelines, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state/federal regs.

Qualifications

• Experience verifying medical insurance and obtaining authorizations.
• Familiarity with payer guidelines and pre-certifications.
• Ability to liaise with physicians, nurses and billing staff.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medical necessity and audits authorizations.
• Obtains insurance authorization and pre-certifications to avoid delays.
• Communicates with staff to resolve payer issues and documentation gaps.
• Maintains knowledge of payer requirements and HIPAA regulations.
• Performs other duties as requested.
