Coinbase is hiring an Accountant for the Cyprus Finance team to manage daily accounting operations for CBFSE, including journal entries, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting to CySEC and the Central Bank of Cyprus. You will partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and engineering to ensure accurate financials across the region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in CIF/financial services/fintech.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CPA) preferred.
• CySEC Advanced and AML certificates a plus.
• Hands-on IFRS experience in operational accounting and reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, and G-Suite; strong Excel for reconciliations.

Responsabilités

• Own daily operational accounting for the Cyprus entity, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Execute daily reconciliation reporting and regulatory submissions required by CySEC and Central Bank of Cyprus.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Source-to-Pay, and engineering teams on accounting treatment.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and timely responses.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive process improvements in accounting operations.
