Job summary

Ford is seeking an Identity Platform Engineering Manager to shape the strategy and build a global IAM platform across workforce, dealers, suppliers, customers, workloads, and AI agents. You will start as a strategic individual contributor with broad enterprise influence and grow a global team.

You will lead modernization of identity platforms, drive 24/7 operations, and partner with cybersecurity and technology leaders to enable secure digital interactions across the Ford ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/cybersecurity or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 10+ years designing or leading enterprise IAM platforms.
• Strong experience with Entra ID, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM.
• Expertise across IAM disciplines: IGA, CIAM, PAM, Authentication & Federation, Workload & Agent identities.
• Proven leadership of large-scale transformation programs and 24/7 incident readiness.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise IAM strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead modernization using cloud-native architectures, APIs, and automation.
• Drive Zero Trust adoption across all identity ecosystems and AI agents.
• Build and mentor global platform engineering teams delivering reliable services.
• Partner with security, privacy, and compliance to strengthen resilience.
