Job summary

Baptist is seeking a tele-nurse with strong ICU expertise to provide remote or direct patient care for critically ill adults across multiple ICUs. You will apply the nursing process, coordinate care, and serve as a clinical role model while maintaining patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.

The role requires leadership in clinical settings, lifelong learning, and collaboration across teams. One ICU shift per schedule will maintain clinical knowledge and skills. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in adult ICU setting.
• 10 years experience in adult ICU setting; eICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient.
• Implements and evaluates the plan of care.
• Coordinates provision of care.
• Decreases the risk of clinical problems for assigned ICU patients.
• Communicates with others in providing patient care.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Provides clinical leadership.
