Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Coding Specialist II to support accurate, compliant patient care through ICD-10-CM and CPT coding. You will review provider documentation, assign codes, and collaborate with clinical teams from a remote home-based location. The role requires CPC/CCS-P/CCM/RHIA/RHIT/CCA certifications and strong anatomy/physiology knowledge.

Required are an associate’s degree or equivalent coding experience, plus 3–4 years in a related field. Full-time day shift with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in medical coding.
• CPC/CCS-P/CCM/RHIA/RHIT/CCA certification required.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review provider documentation and abstract codes for accuracy.
• Research denials and collaborate with clinical teams on documentation issues.
• Ensure codes are current and compliant with government and insurer guidelines.
• Communicate coding trends with providers and internal teams.
