General Dynamics Corporation seeks an ICAM Identity Provider (IdP) Engineer to design and maintain enterprise authentication services for millions of identities. This fully remote, full-time role emphasizes SSO, MFA, federation, and secure integration across the DoD ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IAM, hands-on AD FS expertise, and experience delivering scalable IdP solutions in regulated environments. DoD ICAM familiarity and IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience supporting IAM, authentication, federation, or ICAM solutions in government or regulated environments
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• Extensive experience implementing enterprise IdP services supporting large user populations

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise Identity Provider (IdP) services supporting over 4 million identities
• Engineer, administer, and sustain ADFS infrastructure for enterprise authentication and federation
• Configure and maintain federation trust relationships with internal and external IdPs, SPs, and mission partners
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot authentication solutions using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, WS-Federation, and PKI-based auth
• Support onboarding and integration of enterprise applications into the authentication and federation ecosystem
• Develop authentication policies, claims rules, attribute mappings, token issuance policies, and authorization workflows
• Support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and phishing-resistant authentication
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to implement secure authentication
• Support Zero Trust Architecture through modern authentication and identity assurance
• Monitor and resolve complex authentication/federation issues
• Engineer highly available authentication services for mission-critical apps
• Develop architecture diagrams, integration guides, SOPs, and onboarding docs
• Participate in Agile development and service improvement
• Manage technical risks and contribute to identity modernization
