Job summary

GDIT is seeking an ICAM Identity Provider (IdP) Engineer for Enterprise Authentication Services at Fort Meade, MD. This onsite role supports a DoW ICAM mission, designing, integrating, operating, and maintaining IdP services that secure authentication and federation for millions of DoW identities.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of hands-on IAM experience, strong ADFS, SAML, OAuth/OIDC expertise, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Active Secret Clearance required for the role.
BS in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
DoW 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher).

Responsibilities

Support design, configuration and sustainment of IdP services used by millions of DoW users.
Administer and maintain ADFS infrastructure for authentication and federation.
Configure federation trust relationships with internal/external IdPs, SPs, and partners.
Implement and troubleshoot authentication using SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, WS-Federation, and PKI.
Onboard applications into the authentication and federation ecosystem.
Develop authentication policies, claims rules and token issuance configurations.
Support SSO, MFA, Conditional Access and phishing-resistant authentication.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, AD, cloud, infrastructure and app teams.
Contribute to Zero Trust architecture objectives.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authentication/federation issues.
Create technical documentation and SOPs.
Participate in Agile development and risk identification.
