IDR, Inc. is seeking an IBM LDAP SME to join a top client for a remote opportunity.

You will lead upgrades of IBM Directory Server (ISVD) in complex enterprise environments, ensuring reliable authentication services for downstream platforms and delivering high-quality upgrade outcomes and documentation. The role focuses on planning, executing, validating, and troubleshooting the upgrade lifecycle, producing runbooks and technical notes, and coordinating with stakeholders to schedule tests and

Qualificações

Hands-on experience administering and upgrading IBM LDAP / IBM Security Directory Server (ISVD) in enterprise environments.
Strong Linux experience (RHEL) including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in production-like systems.
Experience creating clear technical documentation (upgrade procedures, implementation notes, runbooks) and operational guides.

Responsabilidades

Lead the upgrade of IBM LDAP/ISVD from v10.x to v11.x on RHEL across environments.
Ensure compatibility and stability for LDAP-dependent identity services and downstream platforms.
Plan, execute, validate, and troubleshoot the upgrade lifecycle; perform rollback planning.
Produce upgrade plans, runbooks, and supporting technical documentation.
Coordinate schedules, testing, and rollout activities with stakeholders.
