Job summary

Taras Technology LLC is seeking a seasoned IBM DB2 DBA to lead upgrades and maintenance on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The role focuses on upgrading DB2 from 11.x to 12.x and ensuring compatibility with IBM Verify Governance/Verify Access platforms.

You will develop and maintain upgrade documentation, perform post-upgrade testing across client environments, and minimize downtime while ensuring system stability and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DB2 database administration and upgrades.
• Experience with IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), and IBM LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade IBM DB2 databases from version 11.x to 12.x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Ensure seamless compatibility with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG, formerly ISIM) and IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA, formerly ISAM).
• Execute upgrades while maintaining high quality, system stability, and minimal downtime.
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive upgrade documentation.
• Complete post-upgrade testing and validation across all client environments to ensure successful implementation.
